Wheel Manufacturing & Modification
The manufacturing and modification services available at Agrigear include the following:
- Standard tractor wheels with fixed or adjustable centre discs
- Customised rims for flotation or extra-wide tyres; suitable for tractors, balers, wagons & trailers
- Rowcrop rims manufactured or modified and sprayed to a customer's colour
- Dual wheel systems for tractors as well as for self-propelled and combine harvesters
- Triple wheel systems suitable for bog work
- Loader wheels & rims; industrial loaders converted for agricultural use
- Reinforced wheels for agricultural, forestry, construction and industrial machines
- Earthmover rims, 1-piece, 3-piece and 5-piece options.

HARDI ALPHA 4100 SELF-PROPELLED SPRAYER Purpose of machine: spraying Modification requirement: fit with wider wheels for Winter spraying (originally fitted with rowcrop 13.6X48 wheels) Agrigear’s task: built new rims and fitted with 600/65R34 tyres Benefits: increased tyre footprint for improved flotation in wet conditions; also 2 sets of wheels for 1 application |

CAT 980G WHEEL LOADER Purpose of machine: underground mining (originally worked with stone in a quarry) Modification requirement: overall height of machine to be lowered Agrigear’s task: built new set of wheels to reduce overall diameter of wheels from 29” down to 25” Benefits: overall height of machine reduced and can now fit through mine entrance
