Agrigear has strengthened its presence within Ireland’s agricultural community by becoming the Main Sponsor of Contractors, the popular agricultural documentary series on TG4.

The seven-part series returned for its third season on 17 September, with new episodes airing on Thursday nights at 9.30 pm. The programme follows the working lives of eight agricultural contracting families over a 12-month period, providing an insight into the demanding work, machinery, challenges and family life behind some of Ireland’s contracting businesses.

For Agrigear, the partnership provides an opportunity to connect directly with the farming and agricultural contracting communities that form an important part of its customer base. As Main Sponsor, Agrigear features at the beginning and end of the commercial breaks, alongside a full 30-second television advertisement during the breaks.

The Agrigear advertisement highlights the company’s more than 40 years of experience supporting farmers, contractors and machinery manufacturers with tyre and wheel solutions. It also showcases Agrigear’s wheel rim manufacturing capabilities and its position as the exclusive distributor of BKT Tyres in Ireland.

The programme itself focuses on the realities of modern agricultural contracting, from demanding workloads and machinery requirements to the challenges of managing margins and balancing business with family life. The contractors featured this season come from locations including Cork, Wicklow, Dublin, Kildare, Mayo, Donegal and Armagh.

Contractors airs on TG4 on Thursday nights at 9.30 pm, with episodes also available through the TG4 Player.
