The Story: This JCB 457S Loader arrived equipped with its original standard wheels, but the customer required a front dual wheel setup to handle demanding silage work. To achieve this, we custom-manufactured the secondary outer rims to integrate seamlessly with the original wheels. We completed the dual wheel setup by fitting the new outer rims with 320/90R46 BKT Agrimax RT945 tyres. This resulting larger footprint is purpose-built for buckraking silage—it ensures optimal stability, vastly improves safety on lateral slopes, enhances the loader's ability to climb the pit under heavy loads, and provides essential support to stop the machine from sinking in soft grass.
