BKT has once again reaffirmed its commitment to agricultural innovation with the launch of the Tractor of the Year 2027 programme. The opening event, "Let The Challenge Begin", was held in Naples, Italy, bringing together leading tractor manufacturers, industry experts, and agricultural journalists to begin the selection process for one of the farming industry's most respected awards.

Having partnered with Tractor of the Year since 2020, BKT continues to support an initiative that recognises the latest advances in agricultural machinery and encourages the development of more efficient, sustainable, and technologically advanced farming solutions.
A Showcase of Agricultural Innovation
The launch event marked the beginning of the evaluation process, with 22 tractors competing across six categories covering high-horsepower tractors, mid-range machines, utility tractors, specialised vineyard and orchard models, autonomous tractor technology, and sustainable innovation.
A panel of 26 specialist agricultural journalists from across Europe will assess the competing machines over the coming months before selecting the finalists, with the winners set to be announced later this year at EIMA International 2026 in Bologna.
Driving the Future of Farming
Modern agricultural machinery is rapidly evolving, focusing on efficiency, digital technology, automation, and sustainability. These advancements help farmers boost productivity while lowering costs and environmental impact. As a partner of Tractor of the Year, BKT collaborates with OEMs to address the changing needs of modern machinery, developing tyre solutions that offer better traction, reduced soil compaction, greater durability, and improved operating efficiency.
